Brigitte
Brigitte, short for Brigitte La Croix or Brigitte of the Cross, is part of the Guede family of spirits who are paid tribute on November 1st and 2nd. Death is their domain. The Guede spirits are called upon when people fall ill, since they have powers to heal. Brigitte is surrounded by burning candles to light her way through the dark of night.
